Yes, seeds can go ‘bad’ or lose their freshness. They contain naturally volatile oils that are heat, air and light sensitive. Seeds should be stored in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, in an air-tight container. If in a warm climate or if your pantry gets hot it is best to refrigerate seeds in an airtight container. Seeds usually has a shelf life of 12 months or more when stored correctly. Please see the use-by date on our in-store product label for each batch
