These toasted wheat flakes are Australian made and contain no added sugar, preservatives, artificial colours or flavours. These crunchy wheat flakes have a lightly toasted natural taste. They are great for breakfast or can be used in place of corn flakes in recipes for snacks and treats.


How to Use:

Toasted wheat flakes can be enjoyed for breakfast with any chilled or warm milk of your choice. Also delicious served with fresh or stewed fruit, or try natural yoghurt with nuts and seeds. Add flakes to mueslis for extra crunch.

Or combine flakes with puffed buckwheat and puffed rice for a lovely, earthy flavour. These wheat flakes can also be used in biscuits, slices and unbaked treats. They are great combined with honey, dried fruits, choc chips, and carob or nut butter.

For a quick and simple party treat combine flakes with a little melted butter and honey, then spoon into paper cupcakes and set in the fridge.

To jazz them up add sultanas, dried cranberries or crushed nuts to the mix, or drizzle melted chocolate over the top. Or make a slice with nut butter, toasted flakes and gojis before pouring over a layer of carob.

You can also use crushed wheat flakes to ‘crumb’ vegetables, seafood or meat. Add a little spice like paprika, ground pepper or cumin to the crumbs for a savoury flavour.
