These Buckwheat Spirals are naturally wheat free, delectable and versatile. Despite its name, Buckwheat is not a variety of wheat, or even a grain. Buckwheat is botanically a fruit seed related to sorrel and rhubarb. This Australian made pasta has a delicious earthy, flavour and is easy to cook. Suitable for vegans; it is free of artificial flavours and colours, has no added preservative and is non GMO. Use it in all your favourite pasta dishes and salads.


How to Use:

Organic Buckwheat Spirals will double in size approximately when cooked. Place pasta into plenty of boiling water, approx. 4 litres for every 250g of pasta. Salt may be added if desired. Stir gently and continue to boil for 8-10 minutes or until preferred texture, taking care not to overcook.

Remove from heat, strain immediately and rinse under running water. Serve with your favourite sauce. Add cooked pasta to soups just before serving; delicious in minestrone or broths. Once cooled, al dente spirals can be used in wonderful fresh gluten free pasta salads.

Buckwheat Flour (50%), Potato Starch, Tapioca Starch, Vegetable Gum (405).

Preservative Free, Non GMO, No Added Sugar.

Storage:

Store in an air tight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
