Clear

These delectable Certified Organic sun-dried Tomatoes are a rich dark red colour, with a tangy, slightly salty flavour and sweet aroma. They have a firm texture that is perfect as is or can be soaked to soften. As the name implies, these tomatoes have been naturally dried in the sun – with salt as the only preservative. Sun-dried tomatoes are wonderful for cooking or enjoy them as is in salads and on cheese boards.

How to Use:

Sun-dried tomatoes are a delicious snack on their own or can be served with olives, feta and pickled vegetables as an antipasto. They look wonderful on a cheese board and go well with soft chevre or tangy aged cheddar. Chop them and toss with salad greens or mix through a creamy potato salad.

Finely cut dried tomatoes add a lovely tangy boost to dressings and are wonderful in dips – try with pesto, olive tapenade or pumpkin hummus. Add some sun-dried tomatoes to a loaf of herb bread or savoury muffins.

They can be used in any number of savoury recipes including pies, crepes, hotpots or curries; and compliment seafood beautifully. Reconstitute by soaking in warm water before blitzing into a rich tomato sauce, perfect for soups, pasta and pizza bases.
