Organic Millet Flour
Organic millet flour is produced by stone milling the hulled millet into a fine flour. Millet flour is commonly used for flat bread, tortillas & corn chips.
How to Use:
Organic millet flour is light and mild in flavor with a subtle sweetness making it perfect for sweet or savoury baking. It is commonly used in combination with other flours in baked goods. Millet flour will add a lovely creamy colour to your baking.
Substitute up to 25% of the flour in your recipe with millet flour for added nutrition. It is often mixed with gluten-rich flours to make yeast raised bread and cakes. It can be used as a thickening or binding agent as a cornflour would be used.
Ideally Millet flour should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator to retain its freshness.
