Organic Australian grown wheat grain is mill ground before the bran is sifted off, leaving this delicious plain white flour. Certified Organic, it is unbleached, contains no artificial additives and is non GMO. It has a fresh wheat flavour and aroma, natural off- white colour and fine texture. Organic Unbleached White Plain Flour can be used anytime a recipe calls for plain or all-purpose flour. The full flavour of this unbleached organic flour is wonderful in home-made bread, cakes, desserts, sauces, and pizza dough.
 


 

How to Use:

As this Unbleached White Flour is organic and preservative free it should ideally be refrigerated to retain maximum freshness. It can be used as an all-purpose plain flour suitable for many everyday-cooking needs. Use it to ‘dust’ vegetables, fish and meat; to thicken soup or hotpots; or in béchamel and sauces.

This organic plain flour is delicious in baked goods and works particularly well in cake and pastry recipes. It is, however, necessary to add a raising agent, such as yeast or baking powder, when baking or using a recipe that needs self-raising flour.
