Macadamias are native to Australia. Raw Macadamias have a firm, crisp texture, with a delicious creamy nut flavour and subtle fresh aroma. These Australian Certified Organic Raw Macadamia Nuts have been grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or sprays, have nothing artificial added and are non GMO. A yummy and convenient snack, these raw nuts are also suitable for activating and to make fresh ground nut butter or dairy free mylk. Macadamias are a fabulous ingredient in sweet and savoury recipes; raw food treats; and home-baked goods.


 

How to Use:

Organic Raw Macadamias can be enjoyed on their own as a quick snack, or combined with dried fruit and seeds to create a moreish trail mix. Added roughly chopped Macadamias to muesli; smoothies; acai bowls; and oat or quinoa porridge. Activate raw nuts by soaking in water for 12 hours, before slowly dehydrating at a very low heat.

Soaked nuts are great for dairy-free fresh mixed nut mylk. Just drain, blend with 6 parts water (optional: add a little honey or coconut nectar &/or a pinch of Murray River pink salt), then strain through a clean cloth. Nut mylk will keep for several days, refrigerated in an airtight jar.

Macadamias can also be ground for scrumptious fresh nut butter. For a little variety everyone will love, add some coconut flakes or a few cacao nibs before blending. Use Macadamias in crumbing for fish or meat and in stuffings. Sprinkle chopped nuts over salads, stir-fries and hot pots. Delicious in raw food sweet or savoury recipes; and in home-baked bread, muffins, cakes and biscuits.

Great to have in the pantry; convenient Macadamias are also wonderful when entertaining, or make a lovely Australian gift.
