This Long Grain White Rice is Certified Organic and non GMO. With a light nutty flavour and aroma, this rice has a slightly firmer texture than shorter rice varieties – which means it holds well as individual and separate grains. Long grain white rice is wonderfully versatile and easy to cook. It can be served as a side dish; milled for a light flour; and used in all your favourite recipes.


 

How to Use:

This flavoursome Organic Long Grain White Rice can be milled for a fresh light wheat free flour; or cooked and used in a variety of recipes. To cook, add 1 cup of well rinsed rice to 2 cups of cold water and a pinch of salt (try pink lake salt).

Bring to the boil; reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 12-14 minutes – or until tender and fluffy.

Take off the heat and drain any remaining water. Fluff with a fork. Serve this rice as an accompaniment to all your favourite curries and hotpots. It can also be used to create delicious pilaf, seafood paella, or fresh salads.
