This versatile mix will fill your kitchen with delightful aromas.

Finely cut lemon peel is combined with traditional aromatic herbs, a touch of garlic and seasoned with pink salt and cracked black peppercorns.

This blend is a quick and easy way to add a zesty and herbaceous flavour that is delicious with turkey or chicken. It also goes well with any cut of beef or lamb and most vegetables. Great in a myriad of savoury recipes.

 


How to Use:

Combine this blend with a little olive oil and use it as a rub on a whole turkey or chicken. Or spread the oil mix over a boned fillet or piece before rolling and grilling or roasting. Add it to your favourite stuffing recipe in place of mixed herbs. The flavours and aroma will infuse with the natural juices as it cooks.

This versatile mix is also great as a complete seasoning to use with other meats or vegetable dishes. Just omit or adjust any additional salt and pepper in your recipe.

It’s great with pre-cooked quinoa, barley or rice as a stuffing for baked capsicum or mushroom caps. Use it as a natural flavour booster in stocks or hotpots. Mix a little into sauces and marinades – fabulous for chicken wings or tempeh.

Great on or any kind of shashlik – the citrus and herbs go wonderfully with lamb or beef or try a mix of Mediterranean vegetables with cubes of tofu. Use a teaspoon or two in a stir fry or hotpots. Adds great depth to quinoa and rice dishes. Or sprinkle over veggies with a drizzle of olive oil before baking or grilling them.

Storage:

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
