Maca Powder facts

A traditional whole food of the Incans, Maca is a root vegetable from the Brassicas (cruciferous) family. Maca powder is grown and harvested by Indigenous communities in Peruvian Andes, where they have been cultivating and utilising Maca for thousands of years. Maca has a similar appearance to turnips, with roots that range in colour from yellow to purple and black.
