Preheat oven to 180°C.
1In an oven-safe dish, add all the ingredients except sliced apple and sugar and mix well to combine.
2Lay the sliced apple on top and sprinkle with sugar.
3Bake for 35 – 40 minutes or until cooked through.
4Carefully remove from the oven and allow to cool.
5Cut into 4 – 6 slices and serve warm with yoghurt and almond butter.
