1 tbsp organic hemp protein or pea protein
1 tsp organic barley grass
1 cup baby spinach, spinach, silverbeet or kale
1 tsp organic hemp seeds or organic pepitas
1 frozen banana (large)
2 tbsp avocado
1 cup of ice
1 cup coconut water or milk (for a creamier version)
1-2 dates (depending on preferred sweetness)
(Optional) squeeze of lemon or lime if not using milk
(Optional) raw honey, maple or rice malt syrup, for extra sweetness
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
